A $25 annual membership provides financial and moral support! It lets us know you value our work and want us to continue pursuing our Mission and Values every day.
If you want to engage deeper with SPARC BC and help us to address issues like poverty, housing affordability, food insecurity, and homelessness, you may consider becoming a supporting member. For just $25 per year, a membership allows us to provide direct support and dignified access to British Columbians who may be struggling. As well, by being a supporting member you are invited to join us at our Annual General Meeting and to share your ideas about what you would like to see SPARC BC work on.
If you have a Parking Permit, you are not automatically a SPARC BC member. Your membership is simply a way to support us and stay up-to-date about SPARC BC’s activities. Please remember, you do not need to be a member of SPARC BC to use, receive, or renew your accessible parking permit.
Become a Supporting Member of SPARC BC
Individual Membership: $25 — you will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Your membership means a lot! As a supporting member, your generosity and support help to keep our programs strong.
As a supporting member:
- You will receive notices for SPARC BC’s Annual General Meeting and other member meetings.
- You could speak at SPARC BC’s Annual General Meeting or other member meetings if you wish.
- You will receive regular updates on SPARC BC’s projects.
- Receive a charitable tax receipt.
Most importantly, your generosity and support help to realize our vision of a more just and healthy society for all. Thank you for the difference that you make and the role that your support helps to play.

When you become a member, you receive an annual SPARC BC newsletter, full of interesting and useful pieces of information about all our work around accessibility, parking permits, community development, and research and social policy development.
Members who provide their email address and who indicate that they would like to be part of SPARC BC’s broader community social planning network will also receive regular updates through email.

BECOME A SUSTAINING MEMBER
Becoming a Sustaining Member is an easy and eco-friendly option!
You become a Sustaining Member by making a monthly donation to SPARC BC. You can donate automatically through direct withdrawal from your bank account or through direct charge to your credit card. You can choose any amount you wish to give per month.
Sustaining members have all the benefits of the regular membership, plus you never have to renew! Your membership is continuous until you decide to stop payments.
