The Community Social Planning Network of BC (CSPN BC) is an association of organizations involved in community social planning and development across BC. The network exists so that organizations can work together to:
- Promote and understanding of community social planning (CSP) among decision makers and the public
- Encourage research of issues that are of interest to organizations involved in community development and social planning
- Share resources and information to support the respective abilities of CSPN BC members to meet the goals for their communities
- Provide a forum for discussion and joint action on issues of common concern
Network Priorities and Activities
- New or improved connections between local CSP groups and their local level of government
- Increased profile for local CSP groups and CSPN BC
- Influencing social policy at the community and local government level in BC
- Bi-Annual provincial conference to bring members of the CSPN together for networking and learning workshops
